About me
My name is Milena Buck, I am 22 years old and I am originally from Schrecksbach, a small town in Hessen, Germany.
Music was always a big part of my life. Ever since I was a kid I loved singing and always wanted to be on stage. The first time I sang in front of a bigger audience was when I was 8 years old, at a birthday party of a friend of our family
When I was 12 years old, I started playing the guitar. A couple years later I also started learning how to play piano and the ukulele. With learning how to accompany myself, I had first opportunities to sing on stage for a lot of different events: gigs at carneval parties, christmas markets and concert like “the musicals at the church of death“ in Schwalmstadt, Hessen, as a support act for the German singer Roman Lob and many more.
I started getting requests for weddings and baptisms and I was honored to experience how beautiful it is to contribute to making someone’s big day special.
When I was in 6th grade, I came across a performing arts group called The Young Americans and participated in a workshop they were doing at my school. I was able to take many more workshops with them, in which I learned so much about music and myself. Furthermore this was where another passion of mine came from. Besides singing, I also love to dance. After I finished school, I worked abroad as a kids entertainer, before I then started studying at The Young Americans College of the Performing arts with a vocal emphasis in Corona, California in the USA. Unfortunately, these studies had to be ended early, due to the corona pandemic, in march 2020.
I started studying to become a music and English teacher in winter 2020. I am really excited to learn more about me and my voice during my time at the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen, Germany.
Music is my passion and and I can’t imagine anything better than to move and make people happy with my music. Singing is such an important part in my life and I want to spend every moment sharing my passion with others and show them how much it means to me and inspires me.
I already have many years of experience, in which I was honored to have played a great number of concerts at different events.
